Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch Center LogoThe purpose of the Joint Dispatch Center is to provide countywide communications for the public to police, fire, and emergency medical services.

One of the services they provide to the residents of Manitowoc County is Enhanced 9-1-1, which supplies dispatchers with the name, address, and emergency service provider(s) for each particular address; making the response to each incident quicker & more efficient.  They also have the capability for wireless 9-1-1, which means a person calling with a cellular telephone and in line of sight of the satellites, can be located on a map, to identify their location if they are not sure where they are.
